Bueno Investments are extremely proud to announce
that they are partnering with Macmillan Cancer Support, as
an official supporter of the tremendous work they do to reach
and improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Every property that is purchased by one of
our investors and clients will see a donation made towards
this worthwhile cause. A range of events will also be hosted
over the next year aiming to further raise funds for the charity.
Scott Goodall, Managing Director of Bueno
Investments was delighted with the partnership, quoting:
“We have been searching for a charity
to support for some time now and toyed with the idea of starting
our own. After meeting several representatives at Macmillan,
it was clear that their goals are as focused as ours, and
their cause is a vastly important one. We are proud to assist
and to be associated with a company clearly working very hard
to tackle a phenomenally complex problem affecting so many
people’s lives.”
He added:
“By donating a percentage of our income
per sale, we believe that whilst helping Macmillan fund its
fantastic services and support, we can help to make a difference
to the lives of people living with cancer.
So, we are aiming to fund one Macmillan nurse
for one year, with the support of our investors and clients,
which will cost £52,520. We will keep you updated over
the course of the year and will be holding special events,
all of which we would love for you to attend.”
About Macmillan Cancer Support
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives
of people affected by cancer. One in three of us will develop
a form of cancer and 1.2 million of us are currently living
with it. We are all affected by cancer in some way. We can
all help. We are Macmillan.
As treatments improve, more and more people
are living with cancer in their daily lives. This means they
need more than medical help, they also need practical, emotional
and financial support.
Why Macmillan?
As a company, our employees have all been
affected by cancer, whether it be relations or friends, we
have all seen the affects that this disease has on not only
the person living with cancer, but those around them.
Macmillan does not receive government funding
and relies on voluntary donations from partners and fundraisers
across the county.
